If you want to see what you are breathing with your own eyes, wait until it is dark and take a buck spotter or spotlight and lock it on and set it on the ground pointing up.
Now stand up and put your palms out to block the glare of the bulb and just look in the beam of light. You will see millions of tiny particles, fibers, and other things heavy in the air.
